Mark and girlfriend Nancy were invited to participate in a friend's traditional Indian wedding on November 19th, 2013 in the City of Thrissur in the Carda state of India.
This was a once in a lifetime experience including: attending the traditional application of henna to the future bride; visiting the Taj Mahal; viewing The Marble factory where artisans produce intricate stone carvings, inlays and
friezes in a totally unmechanized shop; experiencing a traditional Indian dinner on a houseboat; taking in a Hindu play with ornate jewelry and richly adorned costumes; riding, washing and being washed by elephants; buying priceless rugs; traveling through three palatial
states in India with the blessing of Ganesh the Elephant God of Happiness and Prosperity.
