This three-day class will cover how to create a stencil to be able to print on glass. We will cover how to print words, designs and even photographs onto glass with the intention of fusing it into the glass surface. From there it can be used for stained, fused and even, blown glass. We'll cover all of the simple steps to create some incredible work. We'll talk about everything from glass paints to computer work. Bring some of your own images (on a CD or flash drive) and we'll have you starting some of your own projects. Whether you are experienced or new to glass, this class is for any level.Tony will provide most of the materials for the first two days. Students will need to buy screen and emulsion for the third day - around $30. BIO: Tony Glander has been teaching glass for over twenty years. He ran a stained glass storefront for 12 years, during which he hired some of the best teachers in the industry to come teach for his students. he learned a great deal from them and incorporates a lot of their techniques in his work. He is the owner of Fitzpatrick Glass Studios, which makes custom glass art for churches, homes and businesses. He is currently the editor for the Batch section of Glass Craftsman magazine.
