This workshop is designed for students who would like to become familiar with applications utilizing liquid enamels.  Liquid enamels can be mixed to achieve endless color variations.  Its viscosity allows for applications on 3-dimensional forms and it is ideal for painterly techniques such as sgraffitto.  We will cover a variety of processes that allow you to prepare the metal surface, like roller printing with the use of templates and the creation of textures.  Demonstrations include working with copper foils, creating small 3-dimensional forms, as well as finishing techniques.  This is a hands-on workshop where technical demonstrations will alternate with work time in the studio where you will be able to experiment and incorporate new ideas into your artwork.
