A chance to see old friends, new ones, enjoy fabulous desserts and listen to an informative presentation on the latest and past work by the metal smith and enamellist Charity Hall. She will present a slide show and discuss the techniques she uses to create surface designs in enamel.
Charity Hall is a jeweler whose metalwork and enameled jewelry reflects a diverse array of plant and animal life. Charity earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Colorado College and worked as a botanist before becoming a full-time artist. She received her MFA from East Carolina University and exhibits work at the Penland Gallery in North Carolina and the Quirk Gallery in Richmond, Virginia. Her work is featured in 500 Enameled
Objects. Charity teaches classes and workshops through Pima Community College,
Idyllwild Arts, and the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation.
SACA members will provide the beverages and ADC will provide the desserts. Please bring a portable chair if you have one and a flashlight.
