Joan earned an MFA from Cranbrook in 1979, an M.S.in Art, and a BFA, from the University of Wisconsin, and a Bachelor of Education from Dominican College, Racine, Wisconsin. She was an instructor of metals at the Univer¬sity of Wisconsin, an arts specialist in Milwaukee Public Schools, and is currently a metals instructor at Milwaukee Technical College. Joan has exhibited in more than 20 shows and she has been published in Lapidary Journal and Art Jewelry.
