Arizona Designer Craftsmen presents this free and open to the public presentation by glass artist Richard Parrish about his artistic journey.This lecture is in conjunction with his three day workshop on "Glass Tapestry: The Integration of Idea, Design, Color, Pattern & Technique".

BIO: Richard Parrish holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and holds a bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. He operates Fusio Studio for kiln-glass in Bozeman, Montana, and teaches kiln-forming classes around the world. His glass work includes speculative work, functional objects, architectural installations, and design elements. Parrish was awarded best artist in his category at the western Design Conference Exhibition in 2008 and 2009. His work was selected for the Corning Museum of Glass's New Glass Review 27, and he was awarded the American Craft Council Award of Achievement in 2003.
