This free and open to the public Friday night lecture at Tucson Parks & Recreation Randolph Center Photo Lecture Room is a precursor to his weekend workshop "Jewelry as Personal Adornment" at Pima Community College. Bob Ebendorf teaches at East Carolina University, where he holds the Belk Distinguished Chair. He is known internationally for his use of unusual materials such as found objects, industrial products, and paper in his work, and his willingness to share his techniques and ideas with students. He is credited with helping shape the crafts movement since the 1960s. He received a Fulbright Scholarship and has held teaching positions at many universities. His work is widely held in museum and gallery collections including the Renwick Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC; Art Insttitute of Chicago; Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY.
